This book is absolutely amazing! Although I am a married woman, I must say I really enjoyed this book. I wish I had read this book when I was younger and dating because that TEMPTATION is a BEAST. I just really wanted to share and bless as many teenagers and single people that I could with this book because I feel like this is a great tool to help with the struggle to fight the temptation that many of us deal with or have dealt with daily. As a college student and a believer, it's hard to find books that cater to me in a biblical sense that I can relate to and understand. Chloe does an AMAZING job breaking down how a lady should conduct herself in a godly manner and how to get through the struggles we may face while doing it. By being transparent and using real life example, I believe any woman who reads this, no matter the age, will gain sound wisdom based on God's Word.
I absolutely loved this book! It's one of the best I've read so far. The author speaks in a way that shows her knowledge of Christ and the life experiences that we all have gone through. This book is full of advice, encouragement, and support and it helps the reader see God as the ultimate Lover! The information in this book isn't good for just one read only. It's timeless. It's a guide that I will run to every time I need support or encouragement. I will definitely read it again and recommend it to others!
I have yet to finish this book but so far I am very inspired by it. I find that it is very informational in my walk with God and remaining abstinent until marriage. I would recommend this bood to all who are walking in the spirit and not the flesh.
Chloe Golden thank you for this book. I really needed this to stay focused and do what I need to do to please God. Just got divorced a year and a half ago and its rough out here starting over. But I see having sex out of marriage hasn't changed with the guys even in there forties. Please pray for me as I reclaim my life of celibacy and pleasing God. This book has answered many questions for me. Getting ready to read Single to Married also...thanks again please continue to let God use you to help his children stay focused on pleasing him. You are a true vessel for God.
Okay, so after a day I've finished reading your fantastic, enlightening, inspirational, guidance and spiritually filled book. I must admit it really shook my spirit. It was just what I needed. I took a vow of celibacy nearly a year ago and I must admit its been a struggle, but I know with God's help, I can withstand the temptation. I thank God for your writing this book because it will serve as a much needed guidance reference in my life. I give the book three thumbs up! It was an awesome experience and a joy to read(as I read it in your voice)- "Mama Chloe". Again, thanks and I wish you all the best!
This is an amazing book and is clearly a work that is blessed by God. Ms Gooden depicted the very struggle I face day to day with being single and no future husband in sight. She gives her readers the proper tools and scriptures to overcome sexual temptation and spiritual doubt. This is also great for men because the book speaks on how Christians should approach relationships and the importance in waiting till marriage for sex. It is vital that men know this as well because society places this acceptable and necessary promiscuity on guys in order for them to be viewed as "real men". I only wish I could've read something so relatable in my younger years before I made some of my past mistakes. Parents please get this book for your daughters and your sons! Men and women please keep this book close to your Bible. It is a must read!!!!
This book was a great refresher. 1. It reminds the reader of what God's plans are for our lives. 2. It let the reader know they are not alone in their walk with God. 3. The world is set up with many temptations, but we also have the WORD to give us strength. This was a very simple and easy ready. No matter what level your walk is with God, or how old you are, Ms. Good has made it very clear and simple to understand.
